In 2023, the Year of the Rabbit features designs from Ing Ing Jong. The series traditionally offers separate silver and gold designs, with the gold design also used on the platinum coin. While different artists typically create the silver and gold images, in 2023 both images come from Ing Jong.

Ms. Jong began her career at Perth Mint in 2011. By 2013, she had created her first design for a lunar collection. That first image was the Year of the Snake image for the Lunar Series II collection. More recently, she completed one of the two Year of the Mouse designs in 2020 to lead off the Lunar Series III program.

Obverse visuals on 2023 1/10 oz Gold Lunar Rabbit Coins include a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty is shown here in right-profile relief wearing the George IV State Diadem Crown. This is the sixth-generation effigy of the Queen to grace Australian coins and was designed in 2015 by Jody Clark.

Reverse design elements on 2023 Australian Gold Lunar Rabbit Coins feature a single rabbit. This rabbit is playfully sprinting through the design field and going so fast that it almost seems to be leaping off the ground.

These 2023 1/10 oz Australian Gold Lunar Rabbit Coins are available individually in capsules. Multiples of 20 coins remain encapsulated and are sealed together in rolls. All coins are in Brilliant Uncirculated condition.
