The United States Mint is collaborating on the Star Privy Silver Eagle release with Nice Gang, a mobile gaming studio. Nice Gang is the second company to collaborate with the US Mint on limited-edition coins. The US Mint’s goal is to help foster the next generation of coin investors and collectors by partnering with outside entities to broaden the appeal of products such as the American Silver Eagle among younger generations.
The obverse of the 2024 Star Privy Silver Eagle comes with a depiction of Walking Liberty. Designed in 1916 by Adolph A. Weinman, the image shows Liberty’s full-length figure in left-profile relief. Draped in the American flag, she strides toward the mountains in the distance as the sun rises. The star privy, the first-ever privy mark to appear on a bullion coin, is located on this side in the lower-right field near Weinman’s AW signature mark.
On the reverse of 2024 1 oz Star Privy American Eagle Coins, you’ll find Emily Damstra’s modern rendition of the American bald eagle for this series. The image shown here captures the eagle in flight with flexed wings as it descends while clutching an oak branch in its talons.
