This historic event occurred in the year 301 AD under the rule of King Tiridates III, making Armenia one of the earliest Christian civilizations.

Armenia’s seal includes a quartered shield that features heraldic eagles and lions in the quadrants. The shield has a smaller seal at the center with Noah’s Ark featured on Mount Ararat.

The reverse side of 2024 1 oz Silver Noah’s Ark Coins comes with an artistic image of Noah’s Ark. Here, the ark is shown after the 40 days and nights of rain have ended. The sun is rising over Mount Ararat in the background as the ark rests on the receding floodwaters in the middle ground. A dove flies into the foreground with an olive branch in its talons.
