The Austrian Philharmonic coins are designed to honor the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. Throughout its history, the Vienna Philharmonic has been associated with many great musical figures. Composers such as Wagner, Bruckner, Brahms, and Mahler either conducted the orchestra or had their works premiered by it. This rich legacy has contributed significantly to the orchestra’s reputation and its unique interpretation of the Viennese classical style.
All 2025 1 oz Austrian Gold Philharmonic Coins offered here come in Brilliant Uncirculated condition with protective flips for individual specimens. Multiples are available in tubes of 10 coins or Monster Boxes of 100 coins. Each box holds a total of 10 protective tubes of 10 coins each.
On the obverse of 2025 Austrian Gold Philharmonics is a depiction of the Great Pipe Organ. This massive pipe organ is found inside the Musikverein’s Golden Concert Hall, the primary musical hall within the building and the primary home of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.
The reverse side of the 2025 1 oz Gold Philharmonic Coin comes with an image of musical instruments. A nod to the members of the orchestra, this design showcases a cello in the foreground that is flanked on either side by two violins. In the background, you’ll notice a French horn, bassoon, and a harp.
